On Jeffrey Epstein: A Primer for the DeSantis Decree

(Editor’s Note: This article was originally run by RVIVR on August 11, 2023, a day after the four-year anniversary of Jeffrey Epstein’s death. Late last week, Epstein was in the news again, this time in Florida when Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he would sign into law a bill permitting the release of Epstein grand jury documents. The Hayride will revisit this DeSantis-Epstein story more in depth this week, but this article here should provide a primer for some darker details).

It is hard to believe it has been four years yesterday since Jeffrey Epstein was found dead of a reported suicide in a New York prison cell. One would be hard-pressed to locate anyone who really believes the story Americans have been fed.

Wait, what?

Maybe once upon a time Americans could have fallen for such nonsense, but not anymore. Even the most arrogant of cynics who rail against conspiracy theorists are hardly quick to believe that one.

Back in 2020, fewer Americans had even heard the name Jeffrey Epstein. But by and by, only because enough people, relatively speaking, were talking about the Epstein saga, mainstream media were forced to offer up some breadcrumbs to the masses. It seemed more an attempt at narcissistic appeasement, however. Media most likely were hoping curious citizens would be satisfied and go away, back to their entertainments and daily lives. Examples of this can be found in a catalogue of 60 Minutes stories:

Exposing Jeffrey Epstein’s International Sex Trafficking Ring

What Really Happened on Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Island?

Did Jeffrey Epstein Die by Homicide or Suicide?

Inside Jeffrey Epstein’s Cell

Such coverage was okay, but not nearly substantive enough. If nothing else, we’ve all seen the significant lack of completeness in previous mainstream disclosures about Epstein through the ultra-substantive, groundbreaking movie Sound of Freedom (which still doesn’t touch the extent of it). Sound of Freedom, along with the meteoric rise of citizen journalism that is showing anyone who cares to notice how real the cult is, has done more and more to neutralize and expose the nefarious propaganda techniques of the Mockingbird media. Now the new story isn’t the lack of information or interest, necessarily; the new trick is to rummage through the assortment of conspiracy theories that now have people wondering exactly to what extent their most beloved celebrities and politicians were affiliated with Epstein and his infamous island.

Of course some folks still just don’t care.

Media Manipulation and Silence

I still don’t trust even what breadcrumbs the mainstream media “so graciously” chooses to impart to us mere mortals. For one, it is wholly inaccurate and misleading for even pundits to still be calling this insidious operation “child sex trafficking” of “underage girls,” as though sex and young teenage girls were all this is about. It is especially infuriating when the impression given is that this is just a whole bunch of old dudes, i.e. Jeffrey Epstein, stuck in their perversions for young girls. It may make you wonder if the mainstream media only jumped aboard the reporting on the Epstein train because they were forced to, but were still able to hold on to another one of their favorite propagandas–the one that is trying to destroy the notion of “man” in our society.

Raise your hand if you’re thinking #MeToo!

Don’t make me mansplain it to you, though!

Readers are also probably thinking MeToo when I say I want to see that Epstein client list. Back in late July 2022, there was some movement on this prospect when Gateway Pundit was “doggedly” seeking the release of said list.

Gateway Pundit followed up that demand with this article in April 2023, but, of course, nothing has been unveiled to the American people to date. In July of last year, I highlighted a running joke in circles where this type of “conspiracy” was more and more turning from theory to reality:

A joke and popular meme online in the wake of Ghislaine Maxwell’s sentencing back at the end of June is that she is the first person to ever be convicted of trafficking humans to absolutely no one. Americans and people worldwide have made it loud and clear that they want to see that client list. One reason is that millions and millions have heard rumors or even seen evidence of the names involved–names many people who are still asleep in this worldwide information war won’t believe.

Sigh. Prudence once again demands that I wait. People are not ready for that list. I may not even be.

May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
