Frank Luntz and I finally agree on something. In relation to the ongoing attempted seizure of Trump assets, Luntz said, “You’re going to get Donald Trump elected.”

Precisely.

Frequently in recent months, we have pointed out that the more Donald Trump gets attacked on the Left, the more popular and sympathetic he gets. The villains of this story are becoming starker and starker, and the contrast of it all–because people tend to think only in pairs, unfortunately–is making Trump look quite virtuous indeed.

It’s Trump and Was Always Going To Be Trump. There Are Only Three Questions Left to Unfold

This work points to the fact that as the witch hunts continue, Trump’s victimhood deepens in the eyes of Americans. A growing number see him as a symbol, an anchor that holds in place the image they have for themselves in relation to a tyrannical government-media apparatus. This is all about optics and the court of public opinion. Trump is a mirror where all of the balled-up angst we have felt for years is reflected right back at us.

As a bit of an aside, in the middle of the drafting of this post on Monday, the New York appeals court judge granted Trump’s request to pause the $464 million judgment in his fraud case and granted him ten days to pay a reduced bond of $175 million.

This should still anger Americans. This should still paint Donald Trump as a victim. “Just” $175 million? All this continues to do is show governmental corruption at every level there is, and as a result, more and more people are coming to Trump’s side. Trump posted this on Truth Social:

It’s a good guess that after posting the reduced bond, Trump is going to win on appeal, get all of his money back, and then sue the state of New York in a civil trial, citing wrongful prosecution and ending up with more than he started with.

But none of that good guess has to play out for Trump to win here.

The perception being formed is precisely what the Deep State does not want, which makes me and many others continue to scratch our heads at their moves on the chessboard. Trump’s enemies couldn’t care less about his money. What they want is him removed from their path toward globalism and totalitarianism, but like plastic he just keeps bending back into place. They want to bankrupt him to weaken his defense, but more so, they want to weaken the army of citizens behind him.

This witch hunt strategy has not worked in almost nine years, since his 2015 announcement and ride down the escalator. If only Americans would rise up in defense of the ultimate victim slain for our sins in Jesus Christ, which Christians remember this Holy Week.

It is this spreading reality that Luntz spoke to on CNN in relation to the potential seizure of Trump’s assets. Said Lutz:

“If they take his stuff, he’s going to say that this is proof that the federal government and the establishment and the swamp in Washington and all the politicians across the country and the attorneys generals and all of this, that this is a conspiracy to deny him the presidency. He’s going to go up in the polls, just like he went up every single time they indicted him.”

“It’s all going to be on camera, pundits are going to sit there and scream about this, and you’re going to create the greatest victimhood of 2024.

“You are going to elect Donald Trump.”

 

“I say this to the Attorney General right now, if you play politics on this—this is what the secretaries of state did in Colorado and what they did in, I believe, is Maine. His numbers went up in both states,” Luntz said. “I’m almost speechless in how pathetic the opposition to Trump has been and how completely misguided and this is a perfect example of it.”

In just a couple minutes, Luntz says–in great detail–exactly what we have been saying for months. He even says that Trump’s opposition is “stupid.”

Precisely.

Or, it is a combination of the opposition being stupid and desperate, and some force for good that Trump is a part of forcing the American public to see all of this, to recognize the contrasts, to swim in the swamp. The public knows that if the legal system can be weaponized against a former president–while for decades so much crime has been overlooked concerning other presidents–there is no doubt that it can be weaponized against any American citizen that voices a different opinion on the matter. This Orwellian scenario is simply not something Americans want, and as if 2020 wasn’t enough to show the election corruption, if Joe Biden “defeats” Donald Trump in November of this year, everyone will have watched the steal happen and they’ll know that everything “conspiracy theorists” said about 2020 was true.

Perhaps that has been the play from the good guys, the white hats, all along. The slow game, the art of war. They’ve shown the public almost everything else to this point. It’s a good guess that they will allow the steal to happen again–but with an entire nation watching instead of sleeping this time.
