MARSH MAN MASSON: Wading for Redfish, Specks + More! (Catch & Cook)

Back in December, I caught the wade-fishing bug while standing in knee-deep water and subduing massive speckled trout in South Texas. A month later, my wife and I were hiking near our condo in Perdido, Fla., and came across a stunningly beautiful flat that was carpeted with shoal grass.

The timing and the temps weren’t right for wade-fishing the flat at that time, but I filed the location away in my memory bank, and returned this weekend to see what I could catch.
