We wouldn’t bet against the headline getting this post deplatformed on social media, but it’s not ours. Credit for this goes to the Louisiana Democrat Party, which is on Xwitter proudly playing the identity-politics card from the bottom of the deck…

Wow.
I find this funny, because when I wrote in The Revivalist Manifesto that Pete Buttigieg was a “queer choice” for Transportation Secretary in that he had zero experience in transportation, logistics or infrastructure and was only selected for that job because he was a representative of the LGBTQ mob in the DEI-infested Biden administration, CNN seized on that as a homophobic remark and a horde of idiots descended on the book’s Amazon page to write nasty reviews (it still has a 4.2 rating out of five stars on Amazon nonetheless).
Now the Democrats can use the word in exactly the context in which it’s supposedly a slur. Makes one wonder if they’ll bring the “N-word” back for their next Kamala rally.
Do we care about what’s almost certainly going to be a poorly-attended and insignificant campaign event in a state that might well go for Trump by 60 percent? No, not really. But it is somewhat instructive that Team Harris is so blatantly playing identity politics.
If you’ll remember, they were as wide open about it as it’s possible to be. That campaign launched with Zoom calls dividing people into black women, black men, Hispanics, white women and white men, inspiring lots of folks to note that if the Trump campaign tried to pull off something like that there would be hell to pay.
Now it’s a bunch of campaign events cutting people into tranches. And “queers” are a tranche.
I get that there are different demographic groups, and you segment the electorate into those groups trying to message effectively to them. The problem when it’s done at such an insane level as Harris and today’s Democrats do it is that you’re not even trying to reach voters based on real policies to solve real problems. This is simply about making a set of campaign promises aimed at fooling specific groups of voters.

Which is really what Democrat politics has become. It’s divide and conquer.
You find people who are willing to speak for the “queers,” and have them spout Democrat policy points which are supposed to signify virtue to the group. Forget about the fact, for example, that promoting transgenderism in the schools does absolutely nothing for homosexuality – in fact, it’s likely harmful, because you might have kids who are gay being led down the path of becoming transsexuals (with a 40 percent attempted suicide rate at the end of that journey, by the way). What that message does is to irritate non-LGBTQ people, and then you use that irritation to show homosexuals, “See? They hate you and they’ll get you if you don’t put us in charge.”
It’s an old game, but they’ve had success with it. So much so that this is all they do.
So it’s “Louisiana Queers For Kamala.” But if you try to adopt that word into your vocabulary, they’ll roast you on a spit as a bigot. You might even get canceled just for noticing.
You’re welcome to ask whether the bad faith inherent in this isn’t disqualifying on its own. You certainly wouldn’t be wrong to ask the question.
