I felt this might be a good story to illustrate what I mean by juggling multiple outlooks at one time as we give watchful attention to–and therefore fight–this information war we are embroiled in.
I understand this “narrative warfare” thing can be elusive. What is it exactly, you may ask. Well, in a nutshell for this article, it’s about recognizing trends and coming to terms with the fact that our baseline has to be this assumption: “This time isn’t time that all of a sudden something is going to turn out differently.”
If the actor in play today, Rep Anna Paulina Luna, comes through in the clutch, great. It’ll be one small step of a million (a billion if you’re speaking Ukrainian) more to go in earning Americans’ trust in its government, in this particular case its Legislature.
My colleague Jeff Sadow opened his unrelated article this morning with the following very-related line:
When you’re playing the big con, your mark can’t know he’s been taken even after he’s been taken.
Indeed. Movies show it to us all the time. The Bible certainly does. Even Scooby Doo is good for some necessary lessons concerning the hiding propensity of evil.
One “Burning Bright” from everything-world-related-watchdog Badlands Media said it well too, pertaining to a story involving DOGE:
“Toxic positivity” has run rampant in the Culture War for years, where communists act as gatekeepers, stamping out all dissent. The awakening was built on the opposite mentality.
Questioning leadership is a feature for [truthers], not a bug.
Trump and Elon want mandate, not fealty.
Fealty /ˈfē(ə)ltē/ (n): a feudal tenant’s or vassal’s sworn loyalty to a lord; formal acknowledgement of loyalty to a lord.
This battle has always been about us.
On my own end, I can proudly say that I too have been banging the drum for accountability on our end just as much as that of the government we have, over the decades, unfortunately grown beholden to with, well, everything. Like that feudal tenant or vassal. Almost every article I’ve been writing includes it, but my most recent one is perhaps the best. Here is a piece of it:
The bottom line is this: it does us no harm to juggle these two parallel narratives–to both enjoy the victories that are exposing the thieves and saving the children and be vigilant in where our fork in the road may have to be with any of these TV personalities. If we’re capable only of thinking along one of these lines at a time, then that may be a call for a look in the mirror and an article all unto itself. I invite you all to continue to enjoy the victories both conservatives and conspiracy theorists have worked so hard to achieve, yes, all the while realizing that, quite possibly, not a single one of the personalities that helped us achieve them are ever going to let us in on the ultimate endgame truth.
Representative Luna and the Task Force!
All of that established as an introduction, I present to you the latest “government-sounding” “thing” in the news right now, a “thing” that came on the heels of an over-the-top preparatory press conference by one Anna Paulina Luna, who serves in the United States House of Representatives from Florida’s 13th congressional district as a member of the Republican Party.
I’ve provided all I came across by the time of this article’s posting. Simply click on the screenshot for the post and the comments section.
There’s a lot of potentially good here. There’s a lot of potentially bad here. And given my attention to the information and not the information disseminators themselves, Rep Luna’s X page can be helpful, in particular recently with the understanding of exactly what USAID has always been.
But “potential” must stop getting drafted first in the draft. Our roster is thin, and we need a sure bet, or at least do the scouting necessary to know exactly what we are getting in return for these very important tasks.
Admittedly, I had quite the visceral reaction to this “news,” if you call scoffing visceral, because frankly I am tired of it. Most Americans are, as proven by the mandate being given to Donald Trump. I have run a couple of articles on these House Committees before, one being on Rand Paul post-10/7 and Israel and the other on Paul and the Anthony Fauci/Covid being created and covered up by the CIA thing. They’ve all become just “things” to me because that’s all they’re worth. While skeptical even then, they were things run long before Trump returned to the White House, and I tended to view any crumbs like that as a good thing, as limited hangouts to keep waking up as many people as possible, as precursors to the feast.
Several days ago, Trump issued the Executive Order concerning this very story. We will be watching Rep Luna and her very important committee and not simply trusting her and her very important committee because they present themselves as Trump supporters.
Those days should be over for all of us. Yes, I realize some things must take time, but I wasn’t even confident in that Executive Order Trump signed several days ago in the first place. I am afraid they’re going to give us a crumb that pretends to satisfy all the conspiracy theories while keeping the truly deep and nefarious conspiracy theories tucked away. I’m afraid they create that false dilemma, just a little shift of the old that only serves to widen the gulf between conservative and conspiracy theorist. You can easily see it now: even if the CIA is implicated, from what I’ve come across, that doesn’t nearly get to the heart of it. But since so many conservatives have not believed in the CIA conspiracy theory, it’ll seem like the full truth as been revealed.
More from “Burning Bright” in the line of the Socratic Method:
1) Who is the Enemy of all Sovereign Nations?
2) Who is the Deep State? Who are the Globalists?
3) What World Leaders are the Globalists aligned against?
4) Who is the Enemy of my Enemy?
When you’re playing the big con, your mark can’t know he’s been taken even after he’s been taken.
All of this has become my baseline. Now we may have yet another layer of fog making us squint for the truth in that autostereogram that goes back 60 years? On top of all the documents (2400!) they just discovered had been hidden, very likely by people a lot of Americans came to trust over the decades? Now we have another opportunity for a member of the Legislative branch to tickle our ears with cool things while we wake up two months later wondering whatever happened to that story?
Here’s Jon Herold weighing in. Excuse the term “normie” he uses, a pejorative I don’t particularly love. I think it is condescending and not helpful to the necessary bridge building in this war. But otherwise I like his posture. Start it at 43:46:
Here is more from Herold, a calm, heady guy, someone who is worth listening to. As always I invite you to read the comments.
Badlands’ Chris Paul chimed in the sardonic voice only he brings: “Can’t wait till she tells us some version of some of the deepest secrets our government has.”
And here’s two more from one Harrison H Smith:
This is what media and We the People must do. We must ask the questions. We must watch.
I’ve written often on information cyphers, through interviews, committees, and task forces, disseminating red pills to the American public. I’ve even praised the implementation of limited hangouts and a scaffolding style of disclosure, similar to a master teacher. But at some point, the breadcrumbing has to end. At some point, the void loops have to turn straight and lead us straight into a collision with the truth, no matter how explosive it is.
Is just another committee and cool sounding promises what we signed up for with Trump? Better yet, is this what Trump wants from us? Should we just be happy he “won” and trust him to do everything, and if some hotshot Republican in Florida is given the reigns to do this really cool thing, we should just trust it and get back to our bread and circuses?
Nah, no thanks. This can’t be the way, even if the Luna Task Force ends up producing a little fruit for once. Americans have seen this act before—government committees and task forces promising transparency, only to deliver theater instead of action. We have had task forces for Epstein. We have had committees for Fauci. The American people do not need another group of politicians that serves as a black hole for accountability.
Our baseline should be vigilance, not unerring loyalty just because someone isn’t a woke Democrat. It should be a questioning of everything our government does–no matter who is doing it. We cannot exchange one slave system for another simply because there’s something called “America First” tickling our ears and our eyes.
Samson fell to Delilah based on such premises.
Trump’s Potential “Weaves” May Go Beyond His Word Rambles
Here may be where the narrative warfare can be so tricky, dare I say risky, for watchers trying to inspire Americans to watch out for themselves.
Remember where I suggest the baseline be: healthy skepticism.
We must realize that nefarious players will co-opt and have long been co-opting everything Trump does just to achieve a personal advance, just to achieve more power, just to do the ultimate enemy’s bidding. I invite you to peruse this Wikipedia bio of Rep Luna. There are certain things, stunningly consistent things, I’ve been seeing in many an individual in positions of power and influence. It would do us all well for more people to start playing the role of noticer.
And frankly–and here is where my perspective delves a bit into the conspiracy theories that have been emerging pretty true for years now–I think this is exactly what Trump may want us to see.
Here’s one poignant question I believe, if Trump is indeed one of us and is trying his best Art of the Deal, Art of War hand to show us the truth, we must ask ourselves, especially concerning the history of these committees, even if we are hopeful in this latest with Rep Luna: At what point do we stop pointing at the creature staring and chuckling at us in the corner of the room and instead go stab it in the heart with a pitchfork?
And if you’ve read my work, you know that this devil’s advocate exploration of Rep Luna did not start with her.
I’ve been doing it for quite a while now with Trump himself.
All of this, perhaps, to digress a bit with the purpose of illustrating how universal this claptrap can be, is a little like Trump being unanimously elected to the Chairman of Board of the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Said one “B K” on Telegram:
I think that perhaps Trump is just showing how RIDICULOUS and FAKE all of these positions really are throughout our government as well as their surrounding ‘private’ institutions that feed off the government unelected bureaucrats. It’s not Kristi Noem stopping the the FEMA funds going to NYC. It’s not Marco Rubio making foreign countries having to take illegals back into their country. It’s all Trump. Why does the Illegitamate [sic] Senate need to be the ones doing the confirmation of what Trump is already allowed to do? This whole thing is all about the compromised United States government putting a face on every aspect of an ‘office’ while hoodwinking the public that it’s really the ones behind the scenes pulling the strings. Nothing that Trump on its face does for everyone else matters (according to the “tradition” they want him to follow and us to believe is how the system works).
Trump or no Trump with some of this, it all especially seems phony when juxtaposed with the aggressive, direct moves Trump is making on other fronts. As I’ve said many times, sometimes the best lessons are learned by contrast.
And if Trump is behind this Rep Luna deployment too, perhaps that is the whole point.
“Government” exposure.
For too long, we have allowed government theatrics to substitute for justice, accountability, and sanity. Americans have watched as congressional hearings produce dramatic soundbites and yet result in no arrests, no indictments, no genuine consequences for the guilty. When Epstein’s flight logs were declassified, did anyone truly powerful face justice? When Fauci’s emails were declassified, did anything of substance happen? These “exposures” serve as pacifiers, keeping the public engaged just enough to feel like something is happening while ensuring that, in reality, nothing ever happens.
This is why I think it is important to more earnestly recognize the backgrounds and associations of these celebrities and politicians.
Too many are clearly gatekeepers of an old guard that goes back a long, long way.
All any of this does, until we learn to trust them, is make us root for Tribe A and yell at Tribe B all the more, because this person is really on our side and that one really isn’t at all!
Because they’re talking about it! They’re really tasking about it! They don’t believe men should be in women’s bathrooms!
They’re America First!
Rep Luna has presented herself as exactly that, as someone who would challenge the system, as someone on our side.
Which is precisely why we should pay closer attention.
What we must be questioning right now is if we are witnessing the same old game played by the establishment—dressed up in populist rhetoric, masked up behind the promise of “America First.” Creating a “task force” is not the mark of a revolutionary; if it is truly organic and not staged by Trump for a purpose, it is the mark–are at least traditionally has been the mark–of someone who understands the political game and how to keep the system running without shaking it too hard.
Or, more sinisterly, without allowing the full truth to be revealed in the first place.
Gatekeeping.
I would be shocked if anything amazing comes from this. If it does, great. Now they have only just under a billion more times to get it right before I stop watching and writing.
Trump likely already knows the truth about all of this, including who exactly was behind the JFK assassination and others. If he is in on this Luna spectacle, it may very well be to exhibit to the American people the never-ending futility of our Legislative branch, which may (conspiracy theory!) eventually even lead us to its illegitimacy that goes back a long way, which of course in turn would delegitimize a lot. After all, what better way to prove to the masses that their elected representatives will never deliver true justice than by letting them flounder in another meaningless committee?
Trump likes to put people in the spotlight for this very reason. We saw it with Fauci even though that took time to materialize for most. It has happened with politicians he supposedly “endorses.” Frankly, we may very well be seeing it now with the team being confirmed by the Senate.
Conspiracy theory, yes. But at least just pay attention to the possibility.
The American people don’t want another show. We certainly don’t want a filtered and fraudulent report from a task force led by a legislator we should not trust, regardless of what her supposed America First stance suggest. She could very well be another wolf in sheep’s clothing, and even if she’s not, it will never not be our job to always watch what these very fallible human beings in power do. I propose we give her the chance out of respect, sure, but I also propose that we do ourselves the favor of paying attention to where truth and deception lie in this story–out of a healthy and long overdue measure of respect for ourselves.
May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
