Randal Gaines Is Desperate For More Vandalism At LADEMO Headquarters

In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s assassination in Utah, some idiot spray-painted “murderers” in the parking lot outside of the headquarters of the Louisiana Democrat Party on Government Street in downtown Baton Rouge.

Obviously, that’s unhelpful. What we’d far prefer to see is the state Attorney General’s office sending in investigators to see if the party’s officials are stealing its donors’ money to pay off gambling debts, like for example was the case when previous party chair Karen Carter Peterson was around.

Spray-painting “murderers” as an effort to discredit the Louisiana Democrat Party along with its national organization might feel good briefly for the perpetrator, but doing that is stupid and illegal and it isn’t legitimate political argument – just like these ugly cretins who are running up to Charlie Kirk memorials and vandalizing them, or making fun of Kirk’s murder like that mental-defective kid at Texas State got himself rightly expelled for doing a couple of days ago, aren’t making legitimate political arguments.

What we want in the wake of Kirk’s death is substantive change. We want Louisiana’s leaders to systematically scrub out wokeness from all of our public universities, for example. If LSU were to be remade as a public-flagship version of Hillsdale College, that’s the kind of revenge for Charlie Kirk’s murder we can all profit from.

And it would be something the Louisiana Democrat Party would dislike a whole lot more than a little spray paint in their parking lot.

Especially since that party’s chair Randal Gaines is now rushing out to play the victim with what looks like a good amount of glee…

Louisiana Democratic Party Chairman Randal Gaines blamed “right wing extremism” for a contentious political climate after the party’s headquarters was vandalized in the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination.

Democratic Party officials discovered the word “murderers” written in red spray paint on the office parking lot when they came to work on Sept. 12, two days after conservative activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on a Utah college campus.

Gaines said he can’t say with certainty the incident was connected to the Kirk murder, but “I can say there has been an increase in the hostile political climate” in an interview with USA Today Network.

Gaines sent the following email to party officials and members Sept. 12:

“In the late hours of last night to early morning, an offensive message reading ‘murderers’ was painted on the property of our Party Headquarters. In light of the hostile and contentious political climate being fueled by right-wing extremism, I strongly urge our Democratic leaders and our Democratic voter base to take all threats and any suspicious behavior seriously, and to report such actions immediately to the appropriate authorities.”

That message really wasn’t directed at the party officials, you know. That was interview bait for the state media. And it worked, because Greg Hilburn came running, and now Gaines could really flop down the victim card…

“I can’t say they are at fault for everything, but I do believe right wing extremists have been strong catalysts for the dangerous political climate,” Gaines said. “I’m not blaming anyone but the shooter (for the Kirk murder), but the environment they created has escalated the contentious environment.

“Blame is not the ultimate goal of the discussion, but we should seek ways to calm and deescalate the hostility and I think we can achieve that together.”

Gaines called the vandalism “a horrible act.”

“It’s extremely alarming during this time of rising political violence that this could foretell a more dangerous action,” he said. “It’s a symbol of hate that we have to deal with because actions of hate could follow.”

Baton Rouge mayor Sid Edwards, who’s a Republican, sent city employees to wash off the “murderers” message at LADEMO headquarters free of charge.

Which was pretty nice of him. Perhaps this will buy Edwards an exemption from Gaines’ accusations of “right-wing extremism.” For a while, at least.

So you don’t miss what Gaines said, he’s telling you that he only blames Tyler Robinson for shooting Charlie Kirk, but he blames all the Republicans for the “horrible act” of somebody spray-painting a nasty reaction on the concrete of his parking lot.

That’s pretty rich. Not as rich as this little free-throw Hilburn thought he’d add to his piece…

Kirk’s accused killer was not a registered member of a political party.

Oh, OK. So we have zero idea what Tyler Robinson’s motivation was. None at all. Queer activist living in sin with a transgendered male furry, the whole family and everybody he went to school with has come out and said he’s a radical leftist, and he shoots the most prominent conservative activist dead at a public event and subsequently says he took him out because he couldn’t abide the “hate” Charlie Kirk spread.

But as to motive?

It’s a mystery.

And whatever Tyler Robinson cooked up in his head to make him want to ruin the lives of everyone around him, bring immeasurable shame to his family and unfathomable amounts of grief to hundreds of millions of people all over the world, had to be on Tyler Robinson alone.

Right, Randal Gaines?

Look, to anybody out there reading this, leave the spray paint in the garage. Vandalizing their headquarters just gives people like this guy a platform to play the victim and run their mouths about how conservatives – the people who just had one of our biggest stars shot down like a deer in the forest – are the real bad guys here.

Which will be reported with zero nods toward its absolute absurdity by legacy media scribes like Greg Hilburn.

Don’t do it. It’s stupid and counterproductive. There are far, far better ways to beat these people.
