Let’s Hope The National Weather Service Fires Lauren Nash This Week

We utterly reject the notion that it’s “cancel culture” to seek the termination of public employees who post murderous political rants on social media. When you’re employed by a public institution like a university, a public school, a fire department, a police force or some other government agency, your job carries with it a responsibility to serve the public.

And when you make a public display of abject hatred toward large swaths of the public you have a responsibility to serve, you certainly aren’t meeting that responsibility.

Which seems to be the case with respect to Lauren Nash, who is a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in New Orleans.

If this post is any indication of her character, one wonders how she survived her first job interview. This is pretty nasty stuff…

It isn’t even original. Every snarling leftist online was howling about Charlie Kirk’s memorial in Glendale, Arizona on Sunday spreading this idiotic lie that the service was a Nuremberg Rally.

Why? Because there were lots of people there and because there were tons of photos of people in the crowd who had one hand up.

Which is something lots of Christians do when praying.

So Christians are Nazis. And you’ll get those smears from people who draw a paycheck from your tax dollar.

This, coming from the same party most of the Congressional representatives of which couldn’t even be bothered to join their leadership in voting for a resolution calling Charlie Kirk a patriot and decrying political violence.

Including the two Democrats from Louisiana, Troy Carter and Cleo Fields. More on that tomorrow.

We keep hearing that we need to “turn down the temperature” following Charlie Kirk’s assassination. And yet the Left, including mindless AWFL’s like Lauren Nash, don’t seem willing to make any moves whatsoever toward doing so.

They don’t want reconciliation. They want surrender.

Well, the answer to that is no. The answer is that the National Weather Service needs a job opening in New Orleans for a meteorologist, because Lauren Nash needs to go. Right now. Let’s turn down the temperature by sending a message that overheated and hateful rhetoric like this isn’t acceptable from a public employee.

Pour encourager les autres, as the French would say.
