Kyl Outlines Reason For Obama Refusal To Secure Border

This video is from a town hall in Arizona on Friday, and it’s at once shocking and no surprise at all. It’s a video of Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) discussing illegal immigration and potential government steps to put a stop to it.

At the 3:17 mark of the video, you find out why few if any of those steps are being taken…

According to Kyl, President Obama won’t secure the border in the Tucson Sector in Arizona because by doing so he loses leverage on “comprehensive immigration reform” – which is publicsectorese for making Democrat voters out of illegal aliens.

This is a man for whom playing politics trumps doing his job.

Which is not a surprise. We’ve known that all along.

But it’s still amazing that someone like this could possibly be president of the United States, no?

Therefore, according to the senator, this administration is deliberately ignoring its oath to defend the constitution and is trading the sovereignty of this country for political gain in the most contemptible manner.

This also explains the motive for deliberately bankrupting the country and the willingness to keep us in perpetual serfdom to OPEC.

Isn't this seditious if not treasonous?: Wonder if a future president with his own version of "Erick Holder" will see this as a prosecutable offense?

I would hate to see a newfound Republican minority bogged down in an impeachment proceeding the way the Gingrich majority bogged itself down with Clinton. That said, a convincing argument could be made that this incident, together as part of a pattern which is remarkably consistent over the course of the Obama presidency, constitutes an impeachable offense. Refusal to discharge the duties of the office has to constitute a "misdemeanor" if not a "high crime."
