Kaplan’s Perry to run for senator’s seat
State Representative Jonathan Perry has announced he will run for the State Senate seat vacated by Senator Nick Gautreaux, who has resigned to accept a position in the Department of Motor Vehicles with the Jindal administration.
“As a husband and father of four I care deeply about the future direction of our state. It is important that we have conservative leadership in the state senate now more than ever as we face the looming budget crisis,” said Perry.
