Let us hope that the mine can be developed without the usual years of court cases! Aside from the potential for a large number of jobs at the town in Nebraska, this mine will create more exploration probabilities in the US. Currently, Molycorp’s mine in Mountain Pass, CA is the only contiguous US active mine. I have seen press release, one bu Pershing Resources Company, Inc. that purports to have Rare Earths in their ore samples. To the best of my knowledge this is not an active mine but in the developmental stage. Verification of ore content(rare earth metal/ assay results) has not been made public to the best of my knowledge. Get the jobs and products back to the US!
