Daniel Hannan’s CPAC Speech
It’d be great if we could run this guy on the GOP ticket.
Why not? He certainly seems to like America better than the guy in the White House now. And depending on who you talk to he might be just as ineligible to serve.
This is a fabulous speech. Well-written, well-delivered, with passion and verve. And with an infectious message. We need a Republican candidate who can give a speech this good.
Hannan will be the British prime minister one day, and perhaps quite soon.

Unfortunately, on Glenn Beck’s FNC show, Hannan once expressed support for Obama and made an appeal for leniency. As much as I appreciate and respect Hannan, I can’t shake that he had such a blind spot.
@BayouBabe I think Hannan backed Obama in ’08 because he felt America needed catharsis after the Bush administration. Obama’s socialist tendencies weren’t quite so obvious then, and the potential change in America’s image abroad that Obama would bring would be to everybody’s benefit.
