Horrid policies have made it impossible for states to handle this kind of destruction by themselves. That certainly needs to be addressed; but, for now, the pork needs to be stripped from the bill and, then, the damn thing needs to be passed. If King was a drama queen, so what? He, at least, got Boehner’s attention.
