Fourteen Louisiana Chambers of Commerce and industry groups – including the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), Associated Building Contractors of Louisiana, the Louisiana Restaurant Association, the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association and others – today fired off a letter to Sen. Mary Landrieu urging her to reconsider her support for the current version of Obamacare being debated in the Senate.

The letter cites the deleterious effects on the legislation on Louisiana’s Medicare and Medicaid budgets, which already project to be in deep arrears, while anticipating a negative effect on the cost of private insurance.
