Here’s the thing. It’s funny. There’s some self-deprecation in there along with some bombs thrown at lots of people. He’s a little like a well-turned-out Lenny Bruce of sorts. The Boehner joke is particularly good. And the quip about Jews with 9 1/2 fingers and meat-cutting at Arby’s brought the house down.

That said, the guy is still a colossal, massive tool. Massive. And though the speech was well-done, it more or less proved how obnoxious Weiner is. Anywhere else in America it would be hard to see this guy get elected to the school board.
