Harry Belafonte And Cornell West Slam Herman Cain; Cain Responds Nicely

Not sure whether Herman Cain is going to be the Republican nominee in 2012, but he’s definitely doing America a service by taking on the race-grievance industry and delegitimizing them.

After has-been calypso singer Harry Belafonte called Cain a “bad apple” in the black community yesterday and do-nothing academician Cornell West suggested he put down the symbolic crack pipe (whatever that means), Cain cheerfully responded by gutting both like a fish on Hannity…

If Cain’s campaign doesn’t ultimately go anywhere, at the very least it’s at least possible that he might open the door for the black community to see him as an example of how it’s not necessary to follow the path laid out by the Left – racism as an excuse, monolithic socialism, dependency on government. And in the event he has some success in that regard, Cain will end up as a true trailblazer worthy of the Martin Luther Kings and other civil rights leaders in lifting the black community in America.
