Yesterday they came out with some new info on Drew Brees’ contract negotiations. Seems as though both sides agree to do $100 million over five years, which would make Breesus the richest dude in the league.

But the big problem is over how much of that scratch is gonna be guaranteed. They’re like $10 mil apart on that number. Which is a lot, and it’s long past time for these dudes to have just gotten the damn thing done.

Which brings us to this, which would maybe explain why this thing is taking so long…
