It’s a crying shame Schiff didn’t have $50 million of his own money to spend on the GOP nomination in 2010, because even if he’d lost to Richard Blumenthal rather than Linda McMahon in the race for that Senate seat in Connecticut you would have seen a show.

The deck was stacked against him in that race. Just like the deck was stacked against him earlier this week when Fareed Zakaria’s CNN show pitted him against Peter Orszag, Katrina Vanden Heuvel and Jeffrey Sachs. He did better against them.
