Allen West’s Busy Sunday In Louisiana

Former Florida congressman, conservative hero and current emerging TV commentator Allen West, who is making the rounds in helping to raise money for conservative and Republican causes, will be stopping in to Louisiana for not one but three separate appearances to benefit the political doings of the Right on Sunday.

West’s first stop will be in Lafayette, where he will be the featured speaker at a fundraiser for the Free At Last PAC, which is state sen. Elbert Guillory’s organization. That appearance will be at 12:30 atĀ French Press, onĀ 214 East Vermilion Street.

After that, West will be in Baton Rouge for two stops.

The first of those will take place at 3:00 on Sunday, at which West will conduct a “2014 Political Strategy Briefing” for Republican precinct captains and members of the Pelican Club – the state GOP’s new booster organization. The location of the 3:00 appearance hasn’t been disclosed to the public – you’ve got to join the Pelican Club, which you can do here – if you want to know where it will be.

And at 6:00 on Sunday, West will be speaking at another fundraiser for the Free At Last PAC at Sullivan’s Ringside on Corporate Boulevard in Baton Rouge.

And in case you’re concerned that West’s appearances come on a Sunday in the fall, don’t forget that the Saints don’t play until Monday night in the Superdome against the Dolphins.
