We don’t do as much Dave Ramsey stuff here at the Hayride as we should. In fact, this might be the first time we pass along a Dave Ramsey video. But it probably won’t be the last, because this is how you explain in a dispassionate, factual and sensible way to people who haven’t thought it through, the economics of grand-scale public policy.

Ramsey throws in some basic economics on Social Security which almost nobody seems to talk about anymore – at least not since George W. Bush went down the tubes trying to privatize it. But most of this 10-minute video is a mathematical, rather than ideological, takedown of Obamacare. And it’s so simple and easy to understand that you wonder how anybody could have won an argument in favor of this insane scheme in the first place.

It’s worth watching, and sharing to everyone you know.
