“His goal of course is to harass us and limit our effectiveness by tying us up in court. Just like President Obama used the IRS to target and suppress conservatives, Governor Cuomo is using his Department of Labor to do the same exact thing.”

Someone forgot to tell Governor Cuomo that he is the governor of a state and not just the ignorant and intolerant leader of a political party.

Progressives calling conservatives “extremists” is a joke. It is their party that has been taken over by the radical fringe. They utilize Orwellian double-speak and a dim, subservient mainstream media to hide a radical agenda that most Americans oppose.

They bury the truth under mountains of documents and lawyerese until you get to the point where you have to “pass it to know what’s in it” and they camouflage their real plans with lies, distraction, deception, disinformation and sophism.

When their opponents expose the truth, progressives try to create a diversion by vilifying, caricaturing and condemning them with ad hominem attacks.

They don’t want to debate. That would force them to reveal themselves. Just leave.

Welcome to New York… Now get out. The party of tolerance strikes again.

Cuomo’s comments about “extreme” conservatives were intended to assess the electoral chances of the Right in New York, and within that small box he’s probably right.

But that’s not how it came out, and he didn’t say “you can’t win an election in New York if you take these positions.” What he said was that if you disagree with him on the issues he outlined then you should leave the state.

And that is not acceptable.

We’re furious about this, but not for the reasons you might think.

We’re furious about it because we believe Hillary Clinton will implode long before she can secure the Democrat nomination for president in 2016. Hillary Clinton, for all the lousy polls people were taking three years before the election, is not electable. Hillary Clinton cannot withstand the scrutiny of a presidential campaign when she has four dead Americans buried under a mountain of lies about Benghazi.

And that means the Democrats will ultimately have to find somebody else, which is a real problem for them given that their bench is almost nonexistent.

The only two plausible, “qualified” candidates on that bench are a pair of governors – Martin O’Malley from Maryland, who is about as charismatic as a banana slug and who actually instituted a tax on rainwater in that state, and Cuomo.

Cuomo has the ability to rake in enough money to make himself a serious presidential candidate, and he has enough of a media presence as Mario Cuomo’s son and the governor of New York as to make him plausible.

Except that Andrew Cuomo is a boorish, rigid, corrupt leftist tyrant who couldn’t possibly withstand the scrutiny of a general presidential election campaign. He would be destined to collapse just like Michael Dukakis and Walter Mondale did. And he has neither racial nor gender diversity to fall back on, meaning that to put his character and record through a shredder doesn’t give rise to accusations of racism or sexism. Cuomo is an old white guy, so he’s subject to the same character assassination every other white guy is.

And that means he’s a loser as a presidential candidate, which also means he’s precisely the kind of Democrat presidential candidate we’re looking for.

And we do NOT like Cuomo letting the country in on the secret of what a boorish, rigid, corrupt leftist tyrant he really is until the Democrats have locked him in as their nominee.

Too soon, Andrew. Too soon. You should have kept it in your pants for a couple more years.
