Last week, at the RedState Gathering in Ft. Worth Erick Erickson endorsed Dietzel as RedState.com’s candidate for the LA-06 race. Erickson said Dietzel is the only candidate capable of beating Edwin Edwards, which is disputable, and extolled his conservatism, which is not.

Then Dietzel took the podium and gave this speech, which is one of the better ones we’ve seen him give. Great message about the need for change in government at the federal level – if you’ve got 22 minutes or so it’s worth watching.
