NO KIDDING: DNC Communications Director Doesn’t Understand Satire

Democratic National Convention Communications Director Brad Woodhouse apparently does not understand satire all that well.

In a satirical piece by Red Stick, the magazine satires that Gov. Bobby Jindal had this to say on the Baton Rouge General Emergency Room closing its doors: ‘Maybe Poor People Should Take Better Care of Themselves.

Nothing new, really. Just the usual left-leaning satire to paint Republicans as haters of the poor. Woodhouse, however, thought the satire peice was a news report and took to Twitter, tweeting this:

WTF? What an asshole: Jindal on BR General ER Closing: “Maybe Poor People Should Take Better Care of Themselves.” http://t.co/GzG2jDv8UJ

— Brad Woodhouse (@woodhouseb) February 5, 2015

Of course, soon after, Woodhouse got a slew of tweets back telling him that the piece was satire, not news.
