John Fleming Endorses ‘Biscuit’ For State House

We got this a couple of days ago. This is worth sharing simply for the name of the guy alone.

Shreveport, LA –  John Fleming, M.D., released the following statement today announcing his endorsement of Llewellyn “Biscuit” Smith for  District 32 of the Louisiana House of Representatives:

“Biscuit is a strong fiscal conservative whom I am proud to support today for the 32nd District of the Louisiana House of Representatives.

“I recently met Biscuit at a military appreciation event where we had the chance to talk about issues and concerns within the 32 District as it is contained within the 4th Congressional District and we would be serving many of the same people.

“As a member of the Beauregard Parish Police Jury for 8 years and jury president for two, Biscuit has proven to be a man of justice and fairness. He is also a strong believer in fewer government intrusions and more personal freedoms.

“I give Biscuit my full support and look forward to seeing him in office.”

I have no idea who “Biscuit” Smith is or how he got his nickname. However, if he is elected he should make the Louisiana House a more colorful place.
