REPORT: Six People Robbed At Gunpoint In Just 40 Minutes In New Orleans’ Marigny Neighborhood

Early Tuesday morning, in the middle of the night, six different people in New Orleans’ hip Marigny neighborhood were robbed at gunpoint in a 40 minute time period, according to a report from NOLA.com.

The six people were held up at gunpoint in three different incidents that night:

  • The first incident involved a 35 year-old man walking in the 1600 block of Pauger Street when three armed men wearing hooded sweatshirts, bandannas and masks walked up to him and demanded his money. The robbers left with $500 in cash, heading towards the river on Pauger Street.

 

  • The second incident occurred just 11 minutes after the first incident, when two 31 year-old men and a 25 year-old woman were held at gunpoint by three armed and masked men in the 2000 block of Royal Street. The gunmen got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

  • The third incident a 33 year-old woman and a 32 year-old woman while they were walking in the 1400 block of Pauger Street. The two women were robbed at gunpoint by three armed, masked men and gave them not only money, but also their cellphone.
