The Worst Music Video Ever Wants Jeff Landry To Abandon His Lawsuits Against JBE

Equality Louisiana released a music video urging Jeff Landry to drop his lawsuits against John Bel Edwards. Our apologies in advance for any discomfort you experience watching this video.

The video features some of the worst dancing ever recorded on video. The content of the song isn’t much better.

It urges Landry to drop his lawsuit against JBE’s executive order requiring state contractors to not discriminate against the LGBT community. Landry argues that JBE does not have the power to mandate that and so far, he has gotten two judges to agree with him. JBE, on the other hand, has lost every time in court which is unheard of for a governor.

Why should Jeff Landry drop a lawsuit he’s winning?

Instead, Equality Louisiana is going to call Jeff Landry a bigot. That’s because they don’t want to discuss the merits of the case and Landry’s argument, which is that JBE cannot unilaterally issue executive orders that contradict state law. If Equality Louisiana wants to change the law, that’s fine. They have work through the legislative process, not JBE’s “pen and phone.”

That won’t change, no matter how many music videos they decide to torture the people of Louisiana with.
