BATISTE: Moonlight Mitch Stole Monuments In The Middle Of The Night

Mitch Landrieu tore down an historic monument this morning under the cover of darkness.

An unknown company, with masked employees, and an unnamed money source removed the Battle of Liberty Place monument with city police blocking off the area. A lone bicyclist rode nearby with a terrorist flag and his face covered supporting the removal and taunting preservationists. Mitch’s people, domestic terrorists.

The Monumental Task Committee continually fought the city in court, but on Friday their writs were denied by the Louisiana Supreme Court, exhausting their last effort to stall removals. The New Orleans media has known that the Lying Landrieu administration was signing a contract since Friday, but the taxpayer employees kept this unpopular removal plan a secret. The city denied any action would take place, even telling new outlets on Sunday:

“Any rumors are not worth responding to because there’s a million and one going around.”

Monument supporters “have no clue about when and how these monuments are coming down, and we’re not talking about it because of safety concerns,” Landrieu’s communications director Tyronne Walker said.

Landrieu is securing his legacy as Mitch the Destroyer. It’s almost as if he wants his father’s name, Moon or Moonlight. But this spineless man, doing his bidding in the shadows, his dirt at night, runs a tyrannical government, the opposite of what America is founded on.

State lawmakers need to wake up.
