We’re growing at The Hayride, and we’re looking for an additional contributor or two in Louisiana with something to say and a flair for saying it!

If you’re conservative or libertarian and you’d like a platform to offer well-reasoned opinions on current events whether political or otherwise, or if you’d like to try your hand at breaking some news, we’re interested in you. Journalistic experience isn’t required, though it’s helpful.

We’re expanding our mission to go beyond just covering Louisiana, so we’re looking for writers and editors in every Southern state. But for right now, Louisiana-based writers are specifically in our crosshairs.

Compensation includes a small fee per post, plus a bonus based on site traffic your content generates (which is paid monthly and continues indefinitely so long as you’re contributing to the site).
