Texas’ Gohmert: America Dodged A Bullet, Congress: Release the Memo [videos]

Republican Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert recently remarked on the House Floor that “America Dodged a Bullet” when Hillary Clinton lost to Donald J. Trump. Information coming to light about FISA surveillance is far worse than Watergate.

Now that the even more scandals are coming to light involving the Clintons, the Clinton Foundation, FBI and DOJ alleged collusion and cover-up, on Monday the House Intelligence Committee voted along party lines to release the classified memo detailing Obama and Clinton FISA abuses. The committee gave Trump five days to make a decision.

The New York Post reports that the FBI is pleading with President Trump to not release the memo:

classified memo alleging surveillance abuses by the FBI, according to a report.

The revelation in the Washington Post that FBI Director Christopher Wray and deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein made a last-minute plea to Kelly came just before Trump was heard on an open mic after his State of the Union address Tuesday evening saying he’s “100 percent” behind making the memo public.

After President Trump’s State of the Union Address, he was overheard saying that he supported releasing the memo after he was asked by Congressman Jeff Dunn if he would.
