Students nationwide walk out to support Second Amendment [video]

May 2 was “Stand for the Second Amendment Day” organized by New Mexico high school senior Will Riley, who along with thousands of students nationwide walked out of their high schools to express their support for the Second Amendment.

High schoolers rallied behind what they argued is one of the most important freedoms Americans can have: the right to bear arms.

Stand for the Second tweeted the purpose of their movement:

Today is the day we are ignored no longer.
Thanks for your support all the way, for everyone who stood with the brave students across America who will be standing up for our rights today.

Students throughout the country posted signs on social media and posed with pictures of the American flag.
