Last year’s Hayride Truth And Consequences Tour was a major success, as we’ve been given lots of positive feedback from our attendees and encouragement to maintain and expand our event offerings, and so we’re building on that experience to debut this year’s version.
We’re calling it the Hayride @Large Tour. Why? Well, because while we had six events on last year’s schedule, this year we’ve got twice as many. We’ll be in a different city every month.
And not just in Louisiana.
Here’s a schedule of Hayride @Large Tour dates…
Jan. 23 (Wednesday) – HOUMA
Feb. 21 (Thursday) – Austin, Texas
Mar. 21 (Thursday) – MANDEVILLE
Apr. 17 (Wednesday) – BATON ROUGE
May 16 (Thursday) – SHREVEPORT
June 12 (Wednesday) – Dallas, Texas
July 18 (Thursday) – LAKE CHARLES
Aug. 8 (Thursday) – METAIRIE
Sept. 12 (Thursday) – Houston, Texas
Oct. 3 (Thursday) – RUSTON
Nov. 21 (Thursday) – LAFAYETTE
Dec. 4 (Thursday) – San Antonio, Texas
As you’ll notice, as The Hayride expands its news coverage to Texas so we’re also expanding our events to the Lone Star State.
But first, coming up shortly is the first stop on the Hayride @Large Tour – Wednesday, Jan. 23 in Houma, Louisiana.
We’re doing something a little bit different with some of our tour events this year. Where last year the events were all large sit-down dinners with a cocktail hour at the beginning, the @Large Tour will operate a bit differently outside of our two largest events in Baton Rouge and Metairie. Those will remain sit-down dinners. The rest will take on a different format.
Accordingly, in Houma on Jan. 23, The Hayride will be hosting a cocktail reception at Spigots Brew Pub, located at 622 Barrow Street, starring our guest speaker Sen. Conrad Appel. The event will be from 5:30-7:30, with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.
Tickets are $30.
Following the cocktail reception we’re going to be hosting a VIP dinner starring Sen. Appel and a few other dignitaries, in a more private setting at Cristiano Ristorante, located at 724 High Street half a block away from the reception. The VIP dinner will start at 8 p.m. Tickets are $200, which includes admission to the cocktail reception.
If you’d like to attend, and we’d love to have you there if you’re going to be in the area Jan. 23, please follow the links to purchase tickets via Eventbrite.
