The First Stop On The Hayride’s 2019 @Large Tour Is Just Six Days Away!

We’re just one week away from kicking off The 2019 Hayride @Large Tour, which will consist of 12 stops in 12 different cities in Louisiana and Texas, with our first event in Houma, Louisiana. And you’re invited to join us there!

Next Wednesday, Jan. 23, The Hayride will be hosting a cocktail reception at Spigots Brew Pub at 622 Barrow Street, starring our guest speaker Sen. Conrad Appel. The event will be from 5:30-7:30, with an open bar and hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets are $30.

Following the reception we’ll also have a VIP dinner a half-block away at Cristiano Ristorante, with our speakers and sponsors. The VIP dinner isn’t a closed event – tickets are available for $200, which include admission to the cocktail reception.

The @Large Tour is the third iteration of Hayride event tours going back to 2017. That year we began with three events in Baton Rouge, Metairie and Lafayette, and expanded to six events in 2018 – in Shreveport, Mandeville, Baton Rouge, Metairie, Lake Charles and Lafayette. This year we’ll be in all six of those cities PLUS we’re expanding to Houma and Monroe in Louisiana and Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio in Texas.

More on those future events at a later date.

Again, next Wednesday Jan. 23 we’re kicking off the tour in Houma with Sen. Appel as our keynote speaker. Hayride readers are quite familiar with the third-term Louisiana senator from not just his conservative leadership at the State Capitol but also from his eloquent columns on Louisiana’s past, present and future here at this site. Appel is even better in person.

We look forward to seeing you there! Below is a handy order form courtesy of Eventbrite…
