Tulane University business school ranks 63rd best, top half of schools evaluated

Tulane University’s Freeman Business School tied at 63rd out of 131 U.S. colleges offering master of business administration programs, according to a new study by U.S. News. It tied with Babson College (Olin) Babson Park, Mass. and Fordham University (Gabelli) New York.

Louisiana State University–Baton Rouge (Ourso) Baton Rouge tied for 69th best business school with Auburn University (Harbert) in Alabama, the University of California–San Diego (Rady), and the University of Missouri (Trulaske).

The New Orleans school has an annual in-state tuition rate for full-time students of $52,918 and an enrollment of 73 full-time students.

U.S. News only ranked 131 schools out of the 367 business schools in the U.S. because only they provided adequate data about their MBA programs to U.S. News. The report analyzed the data based on a weighted average of indicators including test scores, recruiter assessments, acceptance rates and student grade-point averages.

All the schools examined are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International.
