Fred the Afghan. Every day is Memorial Day.

A sweet dog who had never been taken care of responded to a U.S. Marine, Craig Grossi, in one of the most dangerous combat zones in Afghanistan.

With a lot of help, this Marine was able to rescue the dog, and bring him to the U.S.

Fred made it back to the U.S. before Craig did and helped him adjust when he did come back– which was very difficult.

They now tell their story across America.
