The Hayride’s Lafayette Event Next Thursday Is Now A FREE TRUMP WATCH PARTY!

We’ve made a change to our program for the 2019 Hayride @Large Tour event in Lafayette on Nov. 14, as circumstances necessitated. It turns out that President Trump will be returning to Louisiana and holding a rally that evening in Bossier City, which would have created a conflict with our festivities in Lafayette.

Therefore we will adapt and overcome.

Accordingly, what’s going on is that the Hayride event, which will be at the Petroleum Club on Heymann Blvd., will start at 6 p.m., with a short speaker program starring Sen.-elect Heather Cloud and Rep. Philip Devillier, and then at 7 p.m. we’re going to flip on the big screen TV and have a watch party for President Trump’s speech.

And that watch party will include an OPEN BAR and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Tickets for which, thanks to our sponsors Americans for Prosperity-Louisiana, Jonthana Goudeau, the Louisiana Committee for a Conservative Majority and the Louisiana Free Enterprise Institute, are now FREE. Just sign up at Eventbrite or sign in at the door and help us celebrate what we know next weekend will be a red wave sweeping through the state.

So join us, Rep. Phillip Devillier and Sen.-elect Heather Cloud for our Lafayette event. We will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00 at The Petroleum Club, located at 111 Heymann Boulevard just off Pinhook Road. The President’s event gets started at 7:00, and he’s expected to speak at 7:30. And we’ll be there until he’s through.

Tickets for the reception are now FREE. We’ll also have a limited number of signed copies of Hayride publisher Scott McKay’s new novel Animus), available for purchase at the event for just $10.
