When asked about the election not being stolen in 2008, then candidate Barack Obama said, “Well, it helps that we have Democrats in charge of the machines.”
He then went on to give suggestions about how to make sure elections are not rigged. None of them had anything to do with shoring up state regulations, like verifying that the information on a registration card is true– including one’s identity or citizenship status. None of his suggestions had anything to do listing examples of accomplishments he achieved in this area (because there were none) when he was a state legislator.
