MARSH MAN MASSON: Venturing Into Marsh To Catch Speckled Trout NONSTOP!

Speckled trout have been thicker in Louisiana marshes this spring than the gnats that also reside there, and it’s been hard for me to stay away. This week, I toted along my good buddy Chris Macaluso as well as my son, Joel, for a friendly competition that involved fish catching and tackle-box raiding.

It was a bitter battle until the end. We all caught plenty, plenty speckled trout — as well as a host of other species == but one angler emerged victorious.
