MARSH MAN MASSON: Rigging Baits This Way Resulted In TONS Of Trout!

Drop-shot rigs elevate soft-plastic baits off the bottom, holding them in the strike zone of feeding speckled trout. Capt. Justin Bowles has discovered a unique way of tying them, and it’s been paying dividends for him, but never more so than on a trip he and I took to Venice, La., at the mouth of the Mississippi River.
