…with all due respect to Tucker-Putin, of course. That interview, now over five days old, is at 199.9 million views as we release this post, breaking the internet only in expression of course, and it doesn’t appear to be ending there.
It is a good guess that the number of viewers proves people are not only interested, but are waking up. I’ve explored the interview at length, and still have the US biolabs in Ukraine question to write on as well.
But that said, this featured interview from late January was better. The conversation Tucker and Brand had seems like a recreation of everything I (and a lot of you, readers) believe about current politics, media, censorship, and the lies we are told. If 200 million people would watch this interview instead of where it now stands at 8.5, everything–and I mean everything, including Putin, Russia and Ukraine which he talks about–would make sense, and very likely we’d see another encouraging uptick in this great awakening.
No matter. We take the victories as they come, no matter how seemingly small. And the affable wisdom of Russell Brand is one of those victories.
As an intriguing aside, you may or may not know that, last year, it was Russell Brand who claimed the distinction of having Tucker Carlson on his show–the first interview after the ratings giant was axed by Fox News. The two work well together.
In the past I have devoted one article and part of another to Brand. If memory serves me right, he was the first figure I wrote on concerning the ad hominem fallacy, where one strikes at the person and not the person’s argument. I have dipped into this well of knowledge quite a bit in my work, even avoiding the fallacy to call into question things I observe in a man I support in Donald Trump. Most recently, I have invited readers to forget Putin’s name and face and consider his words–words that any America First patriot will recognize as ringing true.

Russell Brand, who has himself been red-pilled in a convincing way, recently released a YouTube video titled, “So THIS Is Why US Wants War In Ukraine.” In it he speaks with Grayzone journalist Aaron Maté about the US proxy war in Ukraine and its efforts to weaken and destabilize Russia. At about the 2:40 mark, Maté begins his discussion of this proxy war and the fact that this story goes back to 2013 (and likely further) when the Obama administration was planting the seeds for exactly what has been taking place in 2022.
“I absolutely think it’s a proxy war, and the goals to me have been made pretty explicit going back to 2013…. A guy named Carl Gershman…he was the head of something called the National Endowment for Democracy, which is a US Government-funded organization that essentially helps carry out US foreign policy goals abroad, which center around enforcing US hegemony and destabilizing governments that stand in the way….”
With a little foundation set, I hope this stirring and entertaining interview speaks to you as it spoke to me. And I don’t mean “entertaining” in the sense that Brand, a celebrity and comedian, put a unique cool “twist” on things to make it hip for the youngsters to listen to. No, I mean entertaining in that the man is as lucid, charming, intelligent, well-spoken, and absolutely saturated with wisdom as anyone–and not in an Obama kind of way. You will leave listening to this interview, which is only 26 minutes long, and even shorter if you speed it up, understanding fully the emerging stage of the current geopolitical drama. It has long raced past the simple conservative vs liberal mindsets so many of us grew up with, and I invite anyone still stuck in some nostalgic place in the past to join this information war we are in. Indeed, as Tucker and Brand get into toward the end of the video, it is a spiritual war not at all for the squeamish.
