VIDEO: Kennedy Says Biden’s Being Run By The “Hamas Wing” Of The Democrat Party

This was an appearance by Sen. John Kennedy yesterday on Fox News Sunday, which is Shannon Bream’s show. In it, he was talking about the shameful turn the Biden administration has made away from Israel just at the moment the Israelis’ war against Hamas is taking its climactic turn.

Which is quite amazing, by the way. From October 7 of last year on, it was obvious to anybody willing to look at the Hamas situation with an intelligent eye that the Israelis could no longer attempt to coexist with the Arabs in Gaza so long as Hamas held power there. It would be like Poland being asked to coexist with Nazi Germany, or Korea being asked to coexist with imperial Japan. At some point you realize there can be no coexistence with an enemy next door whose stated objective is to conquer your and either eradicate you or enslave you to the point where your entire race is chattel.

It’s not like Hamas doesn’t voice this again and again. Then, on October 7, they staged the bloodiest attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust.

Even if the Biden administration hated Israel – and to be sure, most of the handlers of the desiccated, senile old man occupying the White House definitely do hate Israel – it’s still obvious that Hamas has to go if there is ever going to be peace in that region.

What else is obvious is that the Palestinian Arabs in Gaza, as well as the Palestinian Arabs in the West Bank, are going to have to be made to understand that support for Hamas is a dead end and an invitation to endless suffering.

They ought to understand that already. It’s been several decades now of international aid surging into the “occupied territories,” and Hamas and the other jihadist gangs have simply stolen that aid money and used it to build a war machine. So Gaza is more like an anthill than a place where humans should live; it’s full of hundreds of miles of tunnels used to facilitate the movement of terrorists into Israeli territory, something Hamas did a heck of a good job executing on October 7. That maze of tunnels cost billions of dollars which could have been used to create a real economy in Gaza. There is no reason why Gaza City couldn’t have turned into a resort town like Haifa has, or like Beirut was before a similar set of Palestinian Arab jihadists started a civil war there and destroyed that city. The capital was available.

Instead, Gaza depends on Israel not just for its electricity but its water. After all these decades they don’t have a water system in Gaza. They don’t have a power plant. They put all the money toward tunnels, guns and rockets.

It’s 2024. By now we know that nothing will change unless a change is forced.

And the way that’s done is for Israel to do to Gaza what the allies did to Nazi Germany. Which is to conquer it, occupy it, squeeze out the bad guys and eliminate them. We exacted terrible revenge on the Nazis who started World War II in the European theater; we put the bosses on trial and hung them, and we had to de-Nazify German society while it was reconstituting itself from the rubble of its bombed-out cities.

The Israelis, whose country (or at least its modern iteration) was founded largely as a response to what the Nazis did to European Jewry, are supposed to do less to a perfectly analogous set of villains?

It’s bizarre.

This isn’t even about American aid to Israel. They don’t actually need any money from us. We can, and should, sell them the military gear they need. The Israelis have a high-functioning, first-world economy and they can service whatever war debt the fight against Hamas causes them to incur.

What they need, what they’ve always needed, is diplomatic cover to do to Hamas what we did to the Nazis. Not even what we did to imperial Japan, which was even bloodier and, thanks to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, even more spectacularly violent.

And Team Biden can’t even do that. They’re busy demanding a cease-fire which would be tantamount to the Israelis surrendering while they’re winning. And for what? Because they want to turn out the Arab vote for Biden’s re-election in Michigan?

The paradox here is that those Palestinian “civilians,” who heretofore have overwhelmingly supported Hamas and its endless terrorist war against Israel and are thus as guilty if not more so than the German civilians were in World War II, will actually suffer more if Team Biden gets their wish and the war comes to a premature end.

Because it won’t actually end. It will simply pause, just long enough for Hamas to recruit and reload with new stupid terrorist goons, guns and rockets and then they’ll launch another October 7. And Israel’s response will then mean more dead civilians.

Better to get out of the way, let Israel go into Rafah and finish the war, eliminate Hamas by whatever means is necessary, and then make some sort of determination as to how to govern those territories.

If Biden was truly an honest broker with a clear eye toward peace, he’d be working on a plan to give more reasonable and peaceful Arab countries a say in the future of Gaza – to the exclusion of Iran and their puppets who run it now. That would be a way to build on the Abraham Accords and make something workable out of the region.

But doing that won’t turn out the Michigan Arabs to vote Democrat, so it’s a non-starter.

And that means, in large measure, that peace in the Middle East depends on Joe Biden losing re-election to Donald Trump this fall.

Here’s Kennedy…
