I haven’t made a big deal here at The Hayride over the past 10 weeks about King of the Jungle, my latest novel. That’s changing.

You’ve got a few options available to access this novel, which as I’ve said is the best thing I’ve ever written.

You can actually read it for free. Well, not exactly. It’s posted in 10 serialized installments at The American Spectator’s website, and here’s an easy link to access those. If you’re not a subscriber, you’ll likely run into the paywall halfway through, though.

Otherwise, King of the Jungle is available at Amazon as of today. It’s $9.95 for the Kindle version and $24.95 in paperback. A hardcover format is coming on Monday; that’ll be available for $29.95. Yes, there will be an audiobook. No, it’s not ready yet.

The beta readers of this have called it hilarious. Having read through it a few times, I’m going to say they’re right. I wanted to use this novel as an opportunity to do what Tom Wolfe did in Bonfire of the Vanities or what Dave Barry did in Big Trouble – use humor and fiction to eviscerate the people who are shaping our time. It seems, from the reactions the book got during those serialized installments at The American Spectator, that it worked.
