It’s Trump and Was Always Going To Be Trump. Now to Three Questions – Part I

Originally posted on RVIVR on September 30, 2023. I’ve been waiting to run it on The Hayride for the opportune time, and with things shaking out as they are in the Trump trial at the moment, now seems to be a good time. This two-part series is playing out very much in line with the script.

In a lot of people’s minds, whether that be out of a retributive spirit or just plain delusion, Donald Trump is still the President of the United States. There is even a theory, an incredibly viable one replete with ample circumstantial evidence, that points in this direction. Americans watched the witch-hunts during his first term and they are watching the witch-hunts now even when he is supposedly out of office–all reasons to believe in, or at least hope for, a story of retribution to come.

I, and many others for that matter, unequivocally loathe his recent comments on abortion. Others whom I and many disagree with loathe him for a myriad of other reasons. He is simply a loathed man.

But the simple fact of the matter is that he is an incredibly popular and loved man too. He is a lightning rod that draws forth extreme and crystal clear reactions, which may say more psychologically about this nation’s pulse (and his understanding of it) than anything. Many more people want him back than don’t, and all anyone needs to examine are the optics.

Fellow RVIVR contributor William Busse opined in a similar way this week in his article titled “The Trump Who Spoke In Michigan Cannot Be Defeated”:

Watching a debate between a bunch of candidates who have no chance of winning the Republican nomination for president felt the same as watching a Beatles tribute band, so I decided to check out President Trump’s Wednesday speech in Michigan instead.

The backdrop was perfect. He spoke at a company called Drake Industries, an auto parts supplier in Clinton Township, about a half mile outside of Detroit. On a raised platform in front of racks of inventory, Trump addressed an overflow, enthusiastic crowd for just over an hour. Apparently, there were over 10,000 people waiting outside to get into the packed warehouse.

Busse is right. It doesn’t matter what actors are on stage pillow-fighting through another snooze-job debate. Polls are out and have always been out and will continue to come out. The polls don’t matter either.

And I’m saying that with the knowledge that Mr Trump is not winning in the polls–he is absolutely dominating them.

All you have to look at are the number of people still attending his rallies, the fact that he has still been acting as though he is President even when he left the White House, and the fact that the Mockingbird media and the rest of the swamp still–still–loathe him to such a degree that they would have him arrested over (what, exactly?) and continue to panic over his potential second term.

What are they worried about?

Where is that Epstein client list again?

In July 2022, in an interview concerning the (yawn) January 6 committee, former Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) prognosticated on ABC’s “This Week” that “in about ten years, there’s not going to have been a single Trump supporter that exists anywhere in the country.”

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: “It doesn’t appear to be breaking through to Republicans. There’s a lot of recent polling showing that the number of Republicans over the last year who view this as a legitimate protest on January 6th and not an insurrection has actually dramatically risen. How do you explain that?

KINZINGER: “Well, look, I think, on the margins, yes, it is puncturing through. And I think what’s most important is, again, what does history say in five or ten years? Because I can guarantee — well, I can get about as close as I can to guaranteeing that, in about ten years, there’s not going to have been a single Trump supporter that exists anywhere in the country. It’s like Nixon. There were a lot of people that supported Nixon until he was out of office, and then everybody was like, “No, nobody supported Nixon….

He’s in essence a cult leader right now….”

Needless to say, this take is incredibly out of touch, if only for the reasons I listed above. Maybe that is why Kinzinger is no longer in office–he was completely out of touch with the MAGA base.

Trump’s popularity with We the People is not something that arbitrarily began in 2015 when he announced his run for the Presidency. Even in its short run as a nation, America has a long history of cultivating its revolutionist-soul, a spirit Trump has always capitalized on. It is a cast of millions upon millions of American patriots who have finally woken up to the tactics of globalist elites aiming to worsen the slave system already in place. They are for America First, for the sanctity of the motherland, not for New World Order dominance governed by elites who pay or blackmail compromised actors to spew nonsense and manipulation.

Cults don’t follow losers. In Trump, Americans see a winner. With his recent arrest, they see an underdog winner, and Americans have always rooted for a good underdog story.

Trump has always been a man who has his finger on the pulse of a bleeding nation. America is on the precipice of something. It has been approaching it for years now and may still have some months to go. That may seem like a long time to some, but in actuality, if you have given even a cursory glance at historical timelines, you know that a few years such as this is tiny on the continuum.

Americans know this, perhaps for many, intuitively. And equally intuitively they know that 2024 is not just about the Republican candidate vs the Democrat candidate. The old way of thinking about a Presidential election is over. The revelation of truths concerning the Bush and Clinton regimes has done that. It is just one thing Trump dismantled in the minds of Americans.

The current way of thinking is this–there are a lot of hot-button narratives taking place out there, and there a lot of anomalies and contradictions adding up. Something is different this time around. There is unfinished business that we have seen is even more unfinished than we originally thought when Trump left the White House. More and more swamp creatures are revealing themselves, to a degree that would have never happened had Go Brandon not “won” the “Presidency” with that “record” “81 million votes.”

“President.” Haha.

We are realizing that this is not about politics. We are realizing that this is more and more looking like an old fashioned drama of good vs evil, and the only man strong enough to take on the enemy is the one who has proven time and time again that he can take the hits, that he can sling shots at Goliath while standing strong as a Goliath himself.

It is good that conservative analysts continue to explore other Republican options, even though an embarrassingly low number of people even care about these debates. Even going through the motions of this conversation is necessary for healthy national discourse. But there will come a point very soon where three questions must quickly move from background to forefront, and it would behoove all of us to direct our energies in a select few certain directions when that time comes….

May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
