This week, Timothy “Blimp” Cheramie, one of the stars of the hit Discovery series Ragin’ Cajuns, was plying for shrimp in the rich waters along the Louisiana coast, and he was eager for some help and a little company.
So Capt. Ryan Lambert, owner of Cajun Fishing Adventures, Jared Serigne, host of @OutsidetheLevees , and I took Lambert’s flatboat across a ROUGH and DARK open bay in lower Plaquemines Parish to intercept Cheramie’s boat and climb aboard.
We got a lesson in how commercial shrimp boats work, and Cheramie put us to work in the process.
