As our readers probably know by now, I published my first novel Animus: A Tale of Ardenia toward the end of September, and so far sales are going fairly well.
It’s not on the bestseller lists yet or anything, though. That’s the life of a self-published author. What you’re aiming for is a snowball rolling down a hill as you build awareness of a novel, and if it does well there’s a chance maybe it becomes a viral success online. Amazon makes that possible.

Move over George R.R. Martin and Ayn Rand. It looks like you’ve got some competition. This book by Scott McKay brings all the elements necessary for the perfect literary journey to a far away land where you can witness the dichotomy of cultural development and how that leads us to a litany of battlefields. Low tech versus high tech and how that will rule the battlefield. What starts out as What seems a hopeless journey is bolstered by a solid heroic rescue and so much more. I purchased on Kindle, and when it comes out in hardcopy, my Christmas list may have just gotten filled. Have the read and enjoy the ride.

As I’ve said, writing Animus was the most fun I’ve had as an adult. I’ve already begun making notes and jotting down snippets of the first sequel to it, which is going to be titled Perdition: A Tale of Ardenia when it’s published in February or March of next year.
