Romney Ad Whacks Gingrich On ‘Right-Wing Social Engineering’ Statement

When Newt criticized Paul Ryan’s Medicare plan on Meet the Press in May, referring to it as “right-wing social engineering” and cautioning that no reforms the public doesn’t support will ultimately be successful (think Obamacare), he was hammered by virtually everybody within the Republican Party.

It was the last verbal gaffe Gingrich made in a campaign which has been a lot more disciplined since them. But when you make verbal gaffes during a political campaign, you can expect to have them come back on you.
