This clip, which the governor’s office put up on YouTube a little while ago, goes six minutes. It covers the beginning part of Jindal’s testimony on his package – the whole appearance went some 40 minutes including the question-and-answer period (most of that was a back-and-forth with Rep. John Bel Edwards on this business of whether the voucher program being proposed would funnel locally-generated tax dollars to private schools).

Jindal was a lot more succinct than many of the detractors of the package were. But he wasn’t quite as humorous as some – whether intentionally or not…
