Ancient cartographers, who had no information to work from when attempting to map faraway seas, commonly referred to those areas with fanciful depictions of sea monsters and other dangerous beasts, and issued the warning, “Here be dragons.”

As Bill Whittle notes, the 2016 presidential election is much like those faraway seas of ancient lore. None of us know whether Hillary Clinton can survive the investigation of her email scandal, whether Donald Trump can really take the GOP nomination, or what the general election would look like if it came down to Trump and Hillary – or even if those two would be the only major players in the game by November.
