Nungesser was followed by Dave Welch, CEO of Stone Energy, who made some excellent points about how future oil spills will be much easier to solve and clean up thanks to advances made in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon disaster – and also how rig insurance will advance as a result of the energy industry coming together.

And then it was Charlotte Randolph’s turn, and she had some pretty strong words, like “Mr. President, you’re playin’ politics with our livelihood.”
