Rep. Jeff Landry had his way with another D.C. bureaucrat today.

In a House Committee on Small Business hearing, the Democrats trotted out an expert witness named Dr. Adam Finkel – a former OSHA Regional Administrator, a current Fellow and Executive Director at the University of Pennsylvania Law School Program on Regulation and a wearer of an obnoxiously inappropriate tie for a Congressional hearing.

Finkel proceeded to tell the assembled Congressmen that regulations really don’t make much difference where small business is concerned.

Landry didn’t like that too much. Fireworks ensued.

One thing about Landry – if he’s not around after this congressional term due to redistricting/a loss to Charles Boustany in 2012, Louisiana is going to need to find somebody in the delegation who will sink his teeth into these East Coast eggheads who haven’t a clue about the real world and don’t understand you can’t pull a boat with a Prius. This stuff is too entertaining not to have it continue.
