Why Is Ford Facing An Autoworkers’ Strike?

Could be the UAW saw this ad…

Unions represent less than seven percent of the private-sector workforce. Ford isn’t a non-union company, but they at least aren’t owned by the UAW like GM and Chrysler are thanks to Obama’s bailout and rubout of those companies’ bondholders.

When Obama’s approval ratings were high early on, it was probably a little risky to run a spot like this. Now that he’s in the toilet, it’s good marketing.

More power to Ford. And if the union strikes them, best of luck to them and hopefully they’ll break the union.

If the union thugs carry out their threat against Ford, Ford will do whatever it takes to survive, including what it has already done by moving several of their facilities out of the US, to possibly including moving their ENTIRE OPERATION out, as well….
