I got ahold of this thing yesterday from Scott as he is in D.C. on important business. Unfortunately, the Internet was being worked on at my apartment complex due to the storm that tore through Baton Rouge a few days ago. So, I was out of the loop for a bit. As tempting as it was to drive to LSU to get ahold of the Internet there, gas is expensive these days (Morris will soon tell you why), and a poor college kid can’t afford to be driving around that much. Sorry for that, but you get it today, so don’t worry.
Anyway, this is really classic stuff. It shouldn’t be anything you haven’t heard before, but given the fact that Obama just recently gave a B.S. address on “energy independence,” we might as well keep in mind where the problem is coming from in the first place.
